1 Register Your Club
Begin by registering your Cannabis Social Club on our platform. You'll need to provide some basic information about your club.

Go to the registration page: Visit https://app.weedpos.com/auth and click on the "Register" tab.

Fill in your club details:
- Club Name: The official name of your Cannabis Social Club
- Club Slug: A unique identifier for your club (lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only)
- Email: Your official club email address
- Additional Details: Address, phone number, and other contact information

Create your admin account: This will be the owner account for managing your club
- Username: Choose a username for yourself
- Password: Create a secure password (minimum 6 characters)
- Full Name: Your full name
- Email: Your personal email address
Note: The slug you choose will be permanent and cannot be changed later. It's used in various system identifiers, so choose wisely!
2 Set Up Your Club Profile
After registration, you'll be automatically logged in to your new club account. Now it's time to complete your club profile:

Navigate to Settings: Click on the settings icon in the sidebar, then select "Club Profile"

Upload your club logo: Add your club's logo (recommended size: 512×512 pixels)

Complete additional club details:
- Opening hours
- Description
- Social media links
- Club rules

Save your changes
3 Configure Membership Tiers
WeedPOS comes with three default membership tiers (Temporary, Resident, and VIP). You should configure these to match your club's requirements:

Go to Settings → Membership Tiers

Customize each tier:
- Temporary: For short-term members (default: 1 month)
- Resident: For regular members (default: 1 year)
- VIP: For premium members with benefits (default: 1 year with configurable discount)

Set membership fees (if applicable to your club)

Configure discount percentages for VIP members
Important: Make sure your membership tiers comply with local regulations regarding Cannabis Social Clubs in your region.
4 Add Your Products
Before opening, you'll need to add your inventory of cannabis products:

Navigate to Inventory in the main sidebar

Set up product categories:
- Click on "Categories" in the inventory submenu
- Add categories relevant to your products (e.g., Flower, Concentrates, Edibles)

Add products:
- Return to the main Inventory page
- Click "Add Product"
- Fill in details: name, category, price, unit (gram, piece, etc.)
- Set initial stock quantity
- Add low stock threshold for automatic alerts
- Include product attributes (THC/CBD content, strain type, etc.)
5 Set Up Staff Accounts
Add staff members with appropriate access levels:

Go to Settings → Staff Management

Click "Add Staff Member"

Select the appropriate role:
- Manager: Full access except for financial settings
- Budtender: Basic access for daily operations

Enter staff details and create their credentials

Share login instructions with your staff members
Security Tip: Each staff member should have their own account. Never share login credentials between multiple people.
6 Configure Security Settings
WeedPOS includes advanced security features to protect your club data:

Go to Settings → Security

Set up Quick Lock Code: This allows staff to quickly lock the system during inspections

Configure Secure Unlock Key: This is your master unlock key (keep it safe!)

Review GDPR settings: Configure document retention periods and consent requirements
Critical: Store your Secure Unlock Key in a safe place. If you lose this key, you will need to contact support to regain access to your system.
7 Add Your First Members
Now you're ready to start adding members to your club:

Navigate to Members in the main sidebar

Click "Add Member"

Enter member details:
- Personal information
- Contact details
- Membership type
- Upload photo (optional)

Scan/upload identification documents (ID and proof of address)

Generate membership card with QR code
8 Ready to Open!
Congratulations! Your Cannabis Social Club is now set up on the WeedPOS platform. Here are some final tips:
- Practice with the POS system before opening to ensure staff are comfortable
- Test the check-in process with sample member accounts
- Review the reports section to understand what analytics are available
- Set up your scale if you're using the Scale Integration module
- Configure any additional modules you've purchased
