What Actually Changes When You Switch

Your operational workflow

WeedPOS and Doob cover the same operational core — member management, distribution logging, inventory, reporting. The day-to-day flow for staff will look familiar. The main adjustment period is learning the interface and ensuring your settings (membership tiers, product catalog, staff accounts) are configured before go-live.

Member data migration

There is currently no automated one-click migration tool from Doob to WeedPOS. The practical migration path is:

  • Export your member records from Doob (most platforms offer CSV export of member data).
  • WeedPOS can import member records from a structured CSV file — name, date of birth, email, membership status, and membership dates are the key fields.
  • As part of white-glove onboarding for founding members, our team will work through the import alongside you to validate the data and resolve any formatting issues before you go live.
What is not migrated automatically: Historical transaction/distribution logs, document scans, and check-in history from Doob are not importable into WeedPOS. Your operational history stays in Doob's export files, which you should retain for the legally required documentation period. New activity from your go-live date forward is recorded in WeedPOS.

Timing

Most clubs can configure WeedPOS and complete a member CSV import in a single working day. With white-glove onboarding, we target going live within 48 hours of your first session with us. There is no reason a switch needs to span weeks.
